Yes, at half speed (the system does not support PCIe4 speeds so it'll run at PCIe3 speed, and that it's a 7390 clamshell model -- not the 7390 2-in-1, which has a soldered in SSD that cannot be upgraded.

Thanks for the prompt response!!!
This question below will be more if it is a workable solution:
The current default 512G SSD that comes with the system is too small for me and I'm thinking of upgrading to the 1TB Samsung SSD 980 PRO SSD (PCI 4.0 NVMe M.2).
Do you (or anyone) think by saving an image of the existing 512GB SSD in the XPS, and then replace the 512GB SSD with the new 1TB SSD, extract the image into the 1TB SSD, lastly expand the usable storage to fully utilise the 1TB SSD is a workable solution?
I understand it may involve technical detail steps and process, but has anyone done something similar and work well?
Thank you.

You can image the existing drive, but if the existing drive is low on space you'll either need an external drive or an external drive case to hold one of the drives while doing to. Macrium Reflect is a good tool for doing the job.
