Turn off battery charging XPS 7530
XPS 15 7590
Hello,
I typically have my XPS laptop plugged in to AC power, turned on and in use nearly 24/7.
Is there a way to charge the battery only 'on demand'. I.E. Since I'm typically on AC power 99% of the time, I see no need to keep the battery in a 'fully charged' condition and simply wish to charge the battery only when I expect to need to use the laptop on battery power. I have the Dell Power Manager app installed but cannot find an option to do this.

Unfortunately, you cannot turn off the battery from charging when the ac adapter is plugged into the system.
To receive assistance from Dell chat support, they need to verify the warranty status and ownership. Then you must troubleshoot with them.
