Keeping up with Fiber 5 gig internet
XPS 17 9710
When will Dell offer an update to WD19 that includes a 5gig NIC? Most large cities have Fiber internet offerings and 1 gig is now baseline with 5 GB offered. I have rewired all of my office with CAT6 and running the latest WI/ Lan hardware. I have verified that I have 5G up and down all the way the Laptop and my Dell XPS can not take advantage due the WD19's NIC. I have been searching for a USB-C to RJ45 connector and the only thing I can find is a 2.5G. It seems there was a 5G USB-C to RJ45 adapter available for a short while.
When will Dell make the change?

I have seen low cost 2.5G USB-C adapters on fleabay but fiber is still rather exotic. I retrofitted my machines to 802.11ax which can leverage faster internet and soon machines with 802.11be will be available
