Dual 34” curved monitors

I have 2 34” curved monitors. I also have a thunderbolt docking station. Is it possible to run both monitors off the one docking station?

The major advantage of a monitor with a USB-C hub is the ability to daisy chain one monitor from another -- if that's what you need, it's a good choice.

Most 24" monitors are FHD -- driving two FHD (1920X1080) monitors should be within the capability of just about any current system.  Driving two 4K monitors is a completely different realm in terms of CPU/GPU/cooling demands.

You'll need to provide the system and docking station models for anyone to answer.

@ejn63 I have a windows surface 3. A dell wd19tbs  Docking station And then two of the 34” curved screens. One is the hub and one is the normal monitor. Both have the DP port and were bought within the last month. I bought one and my company bought me one. So I can return the one but if I can use both I may just keep them. One monitor is Dell 34 Curved USB-C Monitor - S3423DWC. Not sure what the second one is. It comes in a few days. Assuming it will be one with the hub.

I also have 2 24” flat dell monitors that I had from a past job. If I cannot run both 34” curved I was going to try to hook up 1 34” and then 1 or hopefully 2 of the 24”. It seems excessive but i would be able to get away with not using my small laptop screen at all.

The system is supposed to support two external monitors, and the dock does as well.  How well the setup works is open to question -- this is more of a tablet than a true notebook, as it uses a very low-power CPU.  It's not inconceivable it may struggle to push two 4K monitors' worth of data without overheating and throttling.  So even if it looks technically possible, the results may be underwhelming.

@ejn63 I run my 2 24” monitors currently and they work great. Not sure if it’s truly 4k but it looks great. I also have my surface open to have email and teams up and it all works seamless. Not sure if it’s going to be bogged down with the 2 larger monitors I guess is the question. I suppose I’ll just have to play around with connections and all that.

do you know if the hub monitor can facilitate a dual monitor or if that is too advanced for it? I think I’m getting this one
