Dell XPS 13 (9350 P54G)
Hello, I am the owner of a Dell XPS 13 and I am reaching the community in hope to get some help.
I always used my laptop nicely and have it for years now, it still looks as new. Yesterday I was using it just fine but had to be AFK for around 20 min.
When i came back it was completely off, no lights nothing.
I am pretty sure it didnt overheated because the thermal paste was changed quite recently, the battery was also in good condition and it was even with something like 70% band charging before I went AFK, it had no issues at all, until yesterday it was just turning and was ready to use.
I've tried a few things already without success:
-Opened the back case and disconnected the battery and the bios battery and pressed the power button. Plugged in the charger without the batteries connected but no light no nothing.
- Opened the back case and disconnected the battery and the bios battery and pressed the power button. Connected both batteries again WITHOUT connecting the charger but also no sight at all.
What else can I do? There are no lights at all and the fan also does not start.
Any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance.
Best regards
Joao Q.

Verify that the LED on the AC adapter (or DC plug) is ON before you plug in the notebook end. If it is not, the adapter is faulty; replace it.
If the LED is on before you plug in the notebook end, does it stay on or go dark on connection? If it goes dark, there's a short in the system. Check the USB ports to be sure there's nothing shorting them. If there is not, replace the DC power jack in the system.
Failing that, the system board is faulty and will need to be replaced.
