XPS 8950 SSD question

So I have a question concerning adding a SSD to the top left hard drive bay, I have the drive and drive bracket all figured out but I noticed two sata cables coming from my motherboard? The white one I assume is going to the optical drive. I only had a m.2 ssd on this build with a optical drive, idk what this other sata could be to or maybe its free in there somewhere and i can use it? Second question, this is a rtx 3080 and this fan in the front looks to have some support for this gpu, how would i remove it safely to access the sata ports on the other side? (Circled) thanks in advance

you slide the blue tab which releases lock on the front enclosure

similar to R13 shown in video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DY1dlVPzUVo

the black sata cable that came w it by default is for the upper right hdd cage

to use the upper left hdd cage you need to order an extra long angled sata cable from Dell.

Sweeet that helps. Ok so how long of a Sata cable would i need to make it to the left hard drive bay? Or is there one free already in the PC if you only ordered a optical drive and a m.2

I think the shorter black sata cable is included by default even if you order no hdd.  there is a Dell long cable for upper left you can order but I am having trouble locating its pic after the forum changed format.  I cannot access my old photos.

you can get a non-Dell cable https://www.dell.com/community/en/conversations/xps-desktops/270-degree-right-angle-sata-iii-cable/647fa20df4ccf8a8de77000a?keyword=8950%20sata%20cable

I found my old pic via gogole.

This is the Dell cable D/PN 025X39 with a black tab for the upper left hdd cage.  https://www.dell.com/community/en/conversations/xps-desktops/xps-8950-second-35-hdd-left-upper-dell-sata-data-cable/647fa2b5f4ccf8a8de8521e2

I'd go for a 2nd M.2 NVMe first for expansion but that said, I do have a Samsung 870 EVO in that bay as well.
