I tested the pc with my old monitor. Works completely fine and there is no led ligjt anymore. Now it is solid white :/

Oh well i least i know the monitor was faulty.

That 'code' normally means PCI of Video card/chip failure  according to the Service Manual (https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/en-us/xps-8940-desktop/xps-8940-service-manual/system-diagnostic-lights?guid=guid-85db873b-6a6d-4609-b8b6-31ea6899c4b5&lang=en-us),

It would probably be the RTX 3060TI, and the System switched over to the HD750 Intel built-in adapter using the cards ports.

Were you using Display Port before?

@ispalten do you know how to fix this because the light is annoying and it might indicate a problem in the future

@exitpxint, well, I'd try a test to see if the Nvidia card is bad or not?

First move over to the HD750 itself, that is put the DP cable on the backplane. Then make sure the BIOS is set to BOTH, not just the discrete Nvidia card. Power off and remove the RTX 3060TI and reboot.

It is also possible to just DISABLE in Device Manager and not remove the card, As a test, I discovered when I had lock ups, the I didn't need to move the HDMI cable off of the Nvidia card, just disabling it worked fine. Seems at least the HDMI ports are 'tied' together, that is the output of which ever adapter is active comes out of the port on all devices, or at least the Nvidia card. Might be something to try before opening the box and removing the card and possibly changing the BIOS video setting if you had set it to be only the Nvidia card. Of course, this is still a chance the LED would blink anyway, and you'd have to test with it out.

If that cures the problem, well, the card is bad.

Doesn't? I can't think of a way?

@ispalten I booted up the pc without connecting it to the monitor. After it properly booted up, I connected the monitor. When did I did this the led did not blink.

@exitpxint

See, I suspect the card was not 'exercised' or tested completely without the cable in. The BIOS has that job, to configure and test the h/w and 'connect' it for the OS to use. That is when the error is found.

I for one would want to FIX the problem, not find a work-around, which is 'poor' if you have another BIOS issue you might not see it or even be able to enter the BIOS or the F12 boot screen.
