Wyse3040 keeps stating AVD remoting disabled

I have an issue with a wyse3040 device that after an upgrade and installing the relevant AVD/RDP app for direct remote desktop, when it tries to open the session it complains that remoting is disabled , after kicking the session off again it opens but all this impacts the session automatically opening .
