USB Redirection for all clients.

Greetings,

We are deploying clients with Horizon and we have an issue with the mouse and keyboard.

The mouse middle click is not working. It does a regular click, it cannot be held down to perform drags in Windows or programs like AutoCAD and the like.

The keyboard has the numlock backwards, if it's turned off it types numbers in the virtual machine, but when turned on it works as the secondary keys (Home, PgUp, PgDn, End and arrow keys).

These issues stop happening when  we specifically redirect the devices using the wnos.ini file.

The problem is, we have many thin clients and we work in an environment where peripherals may be replaced often.

Specifically redirecting hardware is not an efficient solution.

The thin clients are 3040 models and we are in the process of deploying a lot of them.

When we use Horizon from a PC with the software client, a web browser client or a thin client from 10zig these issues don't happen at all.

We've been 2 days talking to Dell's partner and looking around the wnos.ini file documentation without luck.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

Yes, we received a new working firmware from Dell a couple days later.

You can also check if usb redirection in the horizon agent install in the master desktop is enabled.

Hope it helps.
