RDP Session disconnected when using Copy

Context : ThinOS 9.3.3096. AVD 1.9.207

I'm randomly and abruptly disconnected when doing a copy  (Either CTRL-C or right-click / copy).

When it occurs, it occurs always.

I have to close the window and open again to be able to copy whatever I want to.

(captchas are killing me)

I have not heard of this. Please open a support case and work with engineering to resolve this. 

Did it happen on an earlier build?

Does it happen under 2211 (9.3.3099) and the latest AVD?

Just occurred on a CTRL-X....

I opened a case and I'm asked to fill a 20th century 8 pages (!) form.

Not sure If 'll go through that....

Occured several times in a row during a Teams meeting. (w/o CTRL-C involved)

Hey,

We are having a similar problem thin clients running ThinOS 9.3.3099 and AVD 1.9.2017

So far I have resorted back to using a previous version of AVD 1.8.1819 and so far have not had any issues with copying.

Have you had any updates on this issue?

Same problem here.

For now I reverted back to AVD 1.8.1819 as declan.morgan suggested. Hope this helps for now.

Same problem here with Dell ThinOS 2211 (9.3.3099) and Microsoft_AVD_1.9.2017.pkg-V1.9.2017

Yes there is a fix that will be in the next release.

Dell support provided to me an interim release. I tested it and it solves this problem.

We have the same problem with ThinOS 2303 and AVD 2.0.2102.
What can we do? There is no newer version online.

If anyone has Dell support case#'s on this feel free to PM me the case #'s and I will look into the status. If you do not have Dell support cases open, you will need to open support cases and work with support on logs to be able to provide engineering visibility and a path to resolution.

We had the same issue. Turned out it was the setting "Redirect clipboard" in "Session Settings" -> "RDP & AVD Session Settings" in the direct connection setting:

After we turned it off the issue disappeared.

 

Most time it occured when copying multiple cells in Excel.

Setup: Thin OS 2303, Windows Server 2019, Excel 2019
