Broker Session Timed Out! message at startup

Running Wyse Manager WMS 3.1 559

Testing Wyse 3040 ThinOS device running 9.1

Created a test group that uses VMware Horizon and filled out broker settings

When the Wyse Device comes up, I authenticate username and password successfully

It then Displays Broker Session Timed Out! message, but I am able to continue on and select my pool and get my desktop, functionally everything is working but this message pops up every time I connect, I have looked through the pool settings but nothing is jumping out at me broker.JPG

Can anyone from DELL support answer this question? Is this a bug?

VMware Horizon Broker

Blast protocol

latest bios

latest thin os

nothing in logs indicating error

why does it try to communicate with the broker instantly after login, says its a timeout but that is incorrect I am connected to broker and able to get to my VM no issues (broker is not timed out)

Are you still experiencing this?

Are you connecting through the Vmware horizon UAG?

Sorry if this is a stupid question but have you installed the Horizon package? ThinOS 9.1 comes without installed packages (ie. Horizon, PCoIP).

I have not seen this when connecting directly to the connection server, but I have seen it when connecting to the UAG.  On the UAG there is a setting for "Authentication Timeout" which in some deployments I have seen it set too aggressive, setting it to 0 to disable and validate, then adjusting from there.

It looks like there is a similar timeout in the connection server you may want to look into. https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/1034033

Aside from that I would definitely recommend getting a support ticket open.

We have exactly the same problem.
The connection is established via the Connection Server and not via the UAG.
The message did not appear under the old firmware.
If you simply ignore the message, you can still connect to the desktop.
The Horizon package is installed. Otherwise a connection would not be established at all.
The protocol is BLAST
Is there any way to suppress the message?

Unfortunately the link refers to the Horizon Admin Portal not to the user login on the Horizon Client.
I am very sure that the cause is a Horizon setting but the problem does not occur under the old ThinOS, other linux thinclient manufacturers and under the Windows client.

A custom parameter to suppress the message would be enough for me.

Another note, if I Acknowledge the timeout, then all sessions disappear, otherwise the VDI works
