Out of Memory; hagent.exe eating up memory

We have a client who we've put in place around 900 thin clients and we've come across a few now where the hagent.exe process is taking up 1gb of memory.  We've had a tech look at the issue and advised that rebooting the device doesn't fix the issue, but if they kill the process, reboot the device, then the unit appears to behave properly.  Has anyone else run into this issue or know of an actual resolution vs a temporary work around of rebooting?

Thank you

Matt

Matt,

It helps to know a little bit about what you have, e.g. Model number, amount of RAM, OS installed, version of firmware, etc. so that an informed suggestion can be made. That being said, the first assumption I will make is that this is a 32bit WES-based thin client and I would recommend that you verify that you have the latest version of HAgent installed on the thin client. Are you using WDM at all? If you are not, you can always stop this service.

Matt,

As mentioned previously, if you are not using WDM, you can stop the service, and if you are using WDM, you need to upgrade HAGENT through WDM.
