The WDM Configuration manager needs to update your client

The WDM Configuration manager needs to update your client

Hello All,

I'm currently heading the testing of WDM at my company. We employ a few hundred thin clients at our facilities in NA and EU. Our most common thinclient is the C90LE7 so I am testing this one first.

I'm able to pull and push an image we created. Before capturing the image I made sure I pushed out the latest HAgent via WDM 4.9.1. When trying to push out a package which contains the following:

EX fbwfmgr /disable
RB
I get the message from the subject: The WDM Configuration manager needs to update your client. I thought this wuold be referencing the HAgent client but apparently I am mistaken. Any idea what would be causing this so I can include the "updated client" in the image and avoid this message?

Also to note: this occurs when I try to push anything. If I manually turn off write filter by hand and let it update, its fine, but I'd like to bypass having to do this as we all know simplicity is better for the masses.

Thanks

I am also testing WDM with WF on and the image can not be captured. What's wrong?

some more things to note: this is only happening when WF is on. Here is the testing I'm doing:

I have two scripts, one that turns WF on, one that turns it off, and reboots at the end

fbwfmgr /disable
RB

fbwfmgr /enable
RB

If write filter is ON:
running the disable script brings up the error

If write filter is OFF:
both disable and enable scripts work fine

I've tried downgrading the agent (why not at this point) and same thing.

Note: i'm running firmware version 9.03
