Deploying client windows security updates
Hi all,
Sorry if this has been asked, but I cannot find the answer or documentation anywhere. We have 1000+ Wyse 5010 Thin Clients (D90D8) WE8S and are looking into a patching solution.
Is it possible to use WDM to do this? We also have SCCM 2012 R2 and WSUS. Does anyone know what the recommend method for deploying security updates is or how I go about doing this?

The security updates are distributed by Dell Wyse in the format required by WDM. I would recommend that you contact Tech support at 1-800-800-9973 option 4 to help you with a solution or put you in contact with someone that can help you with this. You can also download the WDM Enterprise 30-day evaluation from the link below my signature.

Are these packages of security updates from Dell available only to people on the Enterprise key, or are people on the workgroup key able to get them too?

You can download all the WE8S from www.wyse.com/downloads and selecting your specific model. All security updates are at the bottom of the page. They can be used with WDM Enterprise or Workgroup.
