WMP11 - Need Home Premium mpeg codecs for Home Basic
I have two computers; one running Vista Basic, the other running Vista Premium.
Using WMP11, mpeg files run fine on the Premium machine but I get sound and no video on the Basic machine.
Is there any way (short of upgrading to Premium) to copy the Premium codecs onto the Basic machine?
I'm leery of downloading codecs from just any site on the web as I don't want a virus.

Here is a safe and very good codec pack for WMP11

1. Never install more than one codec pack at a time.
2. If you want to install a second one, always uninstall the first one before doing so.
