Windows 10, Bluetooth compatibility issue
Hi,
I have pre-booked windows 10 but then get up that I have some compatibility problem, how do I resolve this? I could check the computer when I booked the windows 10 and that's when I get that I have some compatibility errors. It's almost just about Bluetooth that there is a problem ? It's a Dell computer and it is about 1 year old. I would be grateful for an answer.

Hi,
Thank you for reaching us.
Can you attach a screenshot of the error message you're talking about?
Is there any issues with the computer, Especially with the Bluetooth in the PC.

Hi,
These are the ones listed under network adapter in Device manager.
Can you tell us if you're facing any issues with the Bluetooth connectivity? What was the initial error message about Windows 10? Is there a picture you could send us?
Thank you

Hi,
Thank you for the response.
Bluetooth is not the wireless you use, Its a technology that is mainly used to transfer files and communicate with wireless devices nearby.
I am very sorry that you are unable to attach the picture of what is wrong. I am finding it difficult to understand the problem you're trying to explain.
Thank you

At least tell us exactly what model PC this is...
You may need to load the Win 8.1 Bluetooth drivers for that model if the Win 10 driver isn't working.

FYI
According to the screen capture, Windows 10 Install is merely identifying an existing problem with your desktop and can not move forward with the installation.
You have two choices from here...
1. Disable the Bluetooth adapter from Windows 8 Device Manager since you do not use it anyway. From Device Manager right click on the device, then left click on DISABLE. Reboot. Windows should not look for drivers for this device anymore.
2. Download a new set of Bluetooth device drivers from the Dell Support Web site for your specific computer and current Windows Installation. Install the new drivers, reboot, then check Device manager to ensure the Bluetooth device is working properly.
Either way you go is good.
