Unending Error Loop with Roxio

I have a XPS 400 that came with Roxio Creator Basic/MyDVD basic already installed (No CD came with it)

 

Suddenly and for no apparrent reason any time i try to open Roxio Creator i get an undeding loop of errors. 

 

First thing that happends is that after opeing the program is that at an instalation window pops up, and acts as if it is installing Roxio rather then simply opeing it.

 

After a few seconds of the progress bar growing the following error pops up

Clicking "Ok" results in the return to the install window, and then right back to the same error message.  Clicking cancel results in the Install window followed by this error

I have been to the Roxio site and there are a number of patches avaiable but attempts to install then result in an error saying "cannot detect this version or Roxio"  (or something to that effect)

 

The only thing i can think of is to re-install Roxio, but i dont have an install disk in the first place.
Is there a digital download i can do?

If not what can i do to fix the problem?
