Need a (free) good installer...

Have Vista OS and recently installed Apple's "Safari" (yep, a dumb moment!).  Safari doesn't have an uninstall feature, nor does it populate on Vista remove program list.

 

Do I need to install an uninstall program or am I missing an existing solution?

Did you try to uninstall it from from Control Panel -> rograms and Features, that is how I did it.

No.  Still adjusting to differences between XP & Vista.. .forgot that difference.  The uninstaller program did get rid of some of the trash that the OS always seems to miss.

Actually the OS did the correct thing, the blame lies with the application developer, in this case Apple, who wrote a defective script.
