My system clock and my Outlook clock will not sync

I have a new Dell laptop with Windows 7 and Outlook 2010 -- my system clock is correct, but my Outlook clock is off by one hour.  How do I correct this?

Hi  Swanzala,

Welcome to the community,

You can try following these steps and see if that helps:

I suspect that the issue could be related to the time zone in outlook. Please follow the below link so that you can check and make sure that the correct time zone is set properly according to your location.

Hi Swanzala,

This is Karthikeyan from Dell technical support. In response to your question:

1. Open Outlook , click on file and Options.

2. On the left, click on calendar and scroll down to time Zones.

3. Make sure the correct time zone is selected.

4. Do check the time zone on the OS. The time zone on the OS and Outlook has to be the same.

5. If that does not work install this update (depending on the version of Windows):-

           www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx -- 32bit

           www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx  -- 64bit

let me know if this helped you or if you have any more questions.

Regards,

This may have helped, I am not sure. When I hook up my Blackberry to sync with Outlook, the time on my Blackberry jumps ahead one hour.  This happened before and after I downloaded the link you sent.

2) Second thing which you can do is to check the time zone in blackberry phone and make sure that the correct time zone is set properly according to your location. Then try to sync with the computer and check if it is working properly.
