MS Script Editor 9 vs. 5.8 error in running or installing software
Hi
I get an error when attempting to install software. It indicates it has found MS Sript Editor value of 9 and that there insufficient resources to install the software application.
Is this standard now with all DELL machines or is this something that I can work around to get the software to install?
Thanks

Always include PC model, version of Windows, and in this case the software that you're trying to install.

As a guess I would say you either like enough memory or are having a problem with memory. This is if your hard drive has enough room to install the software package. support.microsoft.com/.../899613

MS Script Editor is part of Office XP. Do you have Office XP on this system, and is it compatible with Win 7 ?? I don't know why it's giving error messages when you're installing some unrelated software.
Are you logged into an account that has administrator privileges so you're allowed to install new software?
