m17 R4, cannot upgrade to Windows 11

Receive an error and it reverts me back to Windows 10.

I successfully upgraded my Aurora 11 as well as Dell Alienware m17 R3 with no issues at all. Any suggestions? This is my main (and very expensive computer). Posted in Microsoft's Feedback Hub, also checked and have all the latest drivers (including graphics which I believe the below file refers to). HELP!

I wound up doing a factory reinstall and upgraded with no problem. My laptop met the requirements however there was a problem with the intel graphics card. Their supportassist is still recommending me to update my 2080 and I have a 3080-both Alienware update and supportassist are not accurate. I use the support website which is still telling me to update an incorrect graphics card. Poor service

Yes I saw it was on the list. According to SupportAssist, Alienware Update and by going to the Dell Support page using my Service tag there is nothing that needs to be updated.

The problem appears to be the Intel GPU driver -- is that up to date?

Your system is on the supported for Windows 11 list.

This web page may help and if you still get nowhere then possibly try a clean install rather than an update. That media creation tool for Windows 11 is here, choose the second option. Right now their site is rather busy so try this video with links to the MS site.

In system settings there is a link to download the MS "PC Health Check". This usually gives the info why it can not be updated.

Link to the MS PC checkup app:

I have an Alienware R4 17" 4 years old..upgraded Memory and SSD drives...its pretty fast and i use it for my main machine as an Network Engineer (minecraft etc etc) ..it says i cannot update because the CPU wont handle it...$3400 machine

Same issue here.  Processor does not appear on the Microsoft "approved" processor list.  Not sure why not?  Everything else is above par.  Seems they skipped over the i7-77xx series processors on the list...
