Lost my laptop but want to retrieve windows product key

I had lost my laptop last year which we are unable to find within a course of time but I would want to retrieve my windows product key so that I can use it in my new device.

If you mean the OEM product key that Dell provided with your XPS laptop with pre-installed Windows 10 or 11, no you cannot reuse it. That key is tied to that particular computer, usually to its motherboard. Even if you manually enter the product key on another computer, Microsoft's database will not activate it because the motherboard won't match.
If you bought a retail licence of Windows, then you may be able to transfer that to another computer.
