I really need some input RE Bloodhound.Exploit.13....

Yesterday, I started having a Symantec notification pop up as follows:

“Auto-Protect has blocked Bloodhound.Exploit.13 as a security risk.

            Your computer is secure.”

I had copied graphics files to my new Dell XPS410 (Windows Vista) from CD’s.  I was using Vista Windows Photo Gallery and I was tagging my graphics (jpgs and pngs).  My old computer is a Dell 4600 with Windows XP, Service Pack 2.  These same graphic files are on the Dell 4600 computer and I have had absolutely no problem with them.

On the 410 every time I go into the Windows Photo Gallery to continue with the tagging of my files, this notification sometimes pops up continually.  I have ran a virus scan and nothing shows.

From what I have seen online there was a problem with this back in 2004 with XP and I gather that the SP2 corrected the problem.  Does this mean I have to wait for a patch to fix this problem?

Windows Vista was installed by Dell.....can I still call Microsoft about this?

I am also going to copy this message to the "Virus/Spyware" forum.

Any and all help you can give me in this matter is greatly appreciated!

Pamela

Lol first scheduled service pack for Vista is in August. It's a good thing our national defense doesn't rely on Vista!
