Hiding the mouse cursor
I'm using a Dell 2400 with XP SP1 installed. I have noticed that when typing in Outlook Express that my cursor does not disappear, even though I have that setting enabled in Control Panel's Mouse area. The cursor does disappear when using programs like Word and Notepad, but not OE, and not while I'm typing this post now. Yet I have another computer running Windows Millennium and the cursor ALWAYS disappears when I start typing,
regardless of the program. Can this be fixed, or is it a glitch with XP?

OK you could try removing tick it , Apply check OE typing which should still show pointer , then tick it again , Apply.
You could try running SFC , which checks protected System Files for corruption & if found replaces them from reinstall..XP CD .
If it prompts for XP CD , hold Shift key while inserting XP CD to stop Auto play.
Use Start > Run & type
sfc /scannow (space after sfc)
