Error Message at Startup
I keep receiving message when I logon to my computer that states "Unexpected Error: Quitting." The message doesn't say what application it is from and only gives me an 'OK' button. Once I click it the message goes away and the machine runs fine. How do I go about either fixing the process that creates the error message or removing it completely. It obviously is more of a nusance than a priority, but I thought I would see if anyone had any ideas. Thanks for your time.

Go to Start|Control Panel|Administrative Tools|Event Viewer. Take a look under Application and System for errors whose time coincides with your startup. The offending program should be identifiable through there.

Good luck.
BTW, do not connect to the internet with your antivirus disabled.

Description:
The server {0DE200BA-4B11-49C4-83F9-9E1F749E5700} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.
I went to the link and it was of no help to me. So, at least I have it narrowed down and maybe in the future I'll have some spare time to fix it.
unless, you can think of anything that might be a quick fix, without jeopardizing my system, I am going to let the sleeping dog lie.
As far as the msconfig went I have a lselective startup which does not allow 'Load Startup Items', I wonder if that might be part of it?
