dial up password save errors

I have a new Inspiron/Windows XP.  I set up the dial-up options and wanted to save my password, connect automatically.  Each time I go back to it, there's a new, much-longer password in place of the one I entered.  I have to catch it before it dials and change it each time.  This has also happened to my daughter with her new Inspiron/Windows XP (different ISP).  I've deleted the dial up account and re-ented it all but the same thing happens.

Thanks for your help,

Debbie

With Juno 4.0, you can set up Juno Platinum to connect to the World Wide Web when you double-click on your Web browser. Please note that this feature only works for Windows 95 and Windows 98 and for Internet Explorer 4.0 and higher; it doesn't work for Windows NT or for Netscape Navigator. "

As XP uses the NT Platform probably doesn't work it also. !

The only way to connect to Juno is by using our proprietary software. Although our software requires the use of Dial-Up Networking, which Internet Explorer can access, you cannot use Dial-Up Networking by itself to log on to Juno. If you want to surf the Internet or check e-mail, you must always connect to Juno first."

Thanks for all the reseach on my behalf; I always thought the problem was with win XP, I guess I was partly right. Looks like I'll have to live with it or find a new ISP.   Thanks John
