VxRail appliance manager / 5480
Hi,
I cannot open link https://vxrail_manager IP:5480. I get error :"This site can't be reached". Telnet IP_address 5480 cannot establish session.
https://vxrail_manager IP/extension/auth.html is working.
VxRail version is 4.5.215
Tnx

I checked logs of vxrail manager and did not find time error. I checked time on vcenter, PSC and vxrail and time is equal. It is strange that the telnet does not pass through port 5480. Is it OK?

Hello AlKo1,
What are you trying to do via telnet? Telnet is supported on a vxrail system.

I found this in localhost_access_log:
"GET /rest/vxm/v1/system HTTP/1.1" 404 1053

As far as I recall, that port isn't open. What task are you trying to run?

Hello AlKo1, All.
You may want to try the following command to see if it open or not:

VxRail Manager never uses that port in any version. 5480 is the port used by VC or PSC for VAMI. See https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/6.7/com.vmware.vsphere.vcsa.doc/GUID-9831B635-DFFA-40FA-9DA9-CEF8A1729E54.html
