VXRAIL 120 license vmware plus

Does vxrail require a vmware enterprise plus license since it's using a distributed switch?

No, vSphere Standard to Enterprise Plus are both supported. VDS is provided as part of VMware Virtual SAN.

  1. What editions of vSphere are supported with VxRail ?

VxRail 3.5 supports the following editions of vSphere (version 6.0 U2): vSphere ENT +, vSphere ENT, vSphere STD, and vSphere ROBO (STD and ADV).

  1. What are the differences between VxRail with vSphere STD and VxRail with vSphere ENT +?

The main differences between VxRail with vSphere ENT+ and VxRail with vSphere STD are derived from load-balancing and related capabilities offered by Distributed Resources Scheduler (DRS).

No it does not require enterprise plus, right now I'm running VMware vSphere 6 Standard on my VxRail120.   We love it so far it's take Windows 2012 Server to boot up around 3 seconds.
