Presenting Node USB device to VMware VM
I am interested in presenting a USB device connected to a single node to a VM on that node. VxRail S570 nodes. I am fully aware of the shortcomings of this if I am able to configure it but have the need. I was able to do it fairly easy with my old Cisco UCS cluster but the only HOST USB options I see for presenting to a VM within my VxRail Cluster is the Dual Internal SD. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,
Thanks for your question about the USB ports on the S570. Which ports have you tried to use?
The VxRail P570, P570F, V570, V570F, and S570 VxRail supports: ● Two USB 2.0-compliant ports on the front of the VxRail ● One internal USB 3.0-compliant port ● One micro USB 2.0-compliant port in the front of the VxRail for iDRAC Direct ● Two USB 3.0-compliant ports on the back of the VxRail
Those are the ports available, but I don’t see a way to make them host accessible in a supported way. https://dell.to/3PNUX3C
