I have seen this a few times recently but I am not sure what causes it. From what I can see the pit file is trying to be launched with mstsc.exe rather than the vWorkspace connector (pntsc.exe) it feels like the association is getting messed up some how. I am sure once I reinstalled the vWorkspace connector the problem went away, have you tried that?

Fix this issue using this post >>> http://en.community.dell.com/techcenter/virtualization/vworkspace/f/4827/t/19557970
"
The solution was to change following value from "true" to "false" in web.config file in the inetpub directory
Path : C:\inetpub\wwwroot\ \web.config

Hi Paul,
Thanks for the quick reply, I have tried this, however the same error occurs (still only on every first try).
We have seen this behaviour on all clients we've tested so far.
