Vplex virtual volume needs to remove and storage lun needs to given directly from storage array directly.
Hi Guys,
I need your help to do, I need to remove virtual volume which given host thorugh vplex with data deletion and give same volume/lUN from storage array directly. what steps needs to perform during this task. Please help me out.

Hi,
1, List out the storage view on the VPLEX
2. Identify the virtual volume which you need to remove.
3. Use :- export storage-view removevirtualvolume -f -v Hostname -o VirtualVolume
4. remove device and extend....then make as unclaimed
5. Pull out the device from VPLEX through the Storage Array
6. zone the host with the front end port of storage
7. map/mask the lun from storage to host.( likewise general provisioning)
