VPlex - Powering Down
I have a customer who needs to relocate a VPlex which is part of a Metro Cluster.
What is the preferred method to power down a VPlex in a safe manner?
Any information or documentation appreciated.

Hi,
You can find the cluster powerdown/restart procedures in the EMC SolVe desktop for the correct procedures that are supported.

We just did this and found the SolVe desktop instructions useful. There is one thing that we found we had to modify for the procedures listed - it had to do with RecoverPoint on the cluster we were powering down. If that is relevant to you please let me know and I will expound.

It is relevant to me, we are looking at doing this also and we need to power down the cluster and recovery point appliances. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
