VPLEX LUN UNMAPPING

This is general query regarding VPLEX LUN Unmapping. Following is the scenario:

From storage(Vblock) we had allocated some 500 GB luns to vplex. Now the requirement has been changed and we are looking for only 250 GB luns. Hence we had been asked to reclaim the 500 GB luns and provide 250 GB luns. We are aware that vplex creates virtual volumes (in distributed device) for the luns which we allocate to it. While doing reclaimation, will it affect only the luns reclaimed or the entire virtual volumes which is created in the vplex.

In other words will it have impact for unmapping a lun from vplex.
