Mapping File for 3PAR array to claim 3par devices on vplex
Hi,
Can someone let me know - How to create mapping file for 3PAR (T800) array to claim devices on VPLEX?
Do we only need map file when we claim devices using GUI or we also need it when we claim the devices
using VPLEX CLI?

There's a procedure in solvedesktop for creating mapping files for 3rd party arrays.
yes, you'll need mapping files to claim through GUI, and no you won't need them if claimed by CLI if you manually claim them.

you can use both either GUI neither CLI.
The format is:
Generic storage-volumes
VPD83T3:60060160a5423600f2952ce8720ee411 ARRAY_NAME_1
VPD83T3:60060160a5423600f4952ce8720ee411 ARRAY_NAME_2
