This outbound communication is designed to share knowledge with EMC VPLEX customers on current end user experiences as it pertains to the management of VPLEX environments currently on 5.3, target code 5.3 Patch 1 and 5.3 Patch 2.

EMC VPLEX engineering recognizes that as our installation base continues to grow (5,000 clusters and 62 million run hours), our existing customers are also growing their environments to scale against an ever changing application and storage landscape. With this growth, managing larger enterprise environment may prevent end users from having the most reactive CLI and GUI experience expected. Engineering acknowledges that slowness in responses times within a variety of commands may hinder productivity.
