Breaking a mirror on a distributed device in a storage view
I am trying to break a mirror of a Distributed-device... but keep the virtual volumes in the storage view, is this possible?
When trying to delete the distributed device, I get an error stating that the Logical unit is still being exported..
Is there a command to just break the mirror ?

I havent seen a way to do this, I would think this is a design choice. Since VPLEX presents active active volumes at both sites if I was able to do what you are proposing then I would be creating a split brain.
Example: distributed VMFS volume that one breaks but still is exported to the servers. Now that distributed volume is two seperate volumes but presented to the same cluster. Changes to either of seperate luns are not replicated and therefore split brain.

Naturally I was hoping for a different response, but I do understand you answer. Ultimately my goal was to expand the underlying virtual volumes without pulling them away from the hosts, but I am finding out that this is not an option with an exported distributed-device. I appreciate the reply.
