Boot LUN from VPLEX Metro
Are boot LUN's presented by VPLEX Metro supported?
The backend storage is VMAX.
The hosts are ESXi 6.0.

The short answer is yes and the support for what OS's are supported can be found in the VPLEX SSM here: https://elabnavigator.emc.com/vault/pdf/EMC_VPLEX_ESSM.pdf
However, since your query is on ESX 6 and that hasn't made it into the SSM for this support yet, I would suggest you reach out to your EMC account team to file an RPQ or try to find out when it will be supported. ESX 5.x is supported.
