Allocating vplex and non-vplex storage to Solaris host
Folks,
We encountered capacity issue and have to migrate data off vpex to new VMAX using host tools. Can we allocate vplex and vmax storage to same host and same array? I tried the host connectivity guide, but couldn't find the relevant information.

Yes this is not uncommon. As long as its not the SAME lun that is being presented from the vmax and vplex. In your case you are doing a migration so they will be different luns. If you can take an outage you can also decapsulate the volume instead of doing a host migration.
