Vostro 5402, hinges broken, #2

We have three Vostro 5402 models that all are less than three years old and it's used by a single user with utmost care. Now it seems one of the Laptop hinges is broken and the edges of the screen have come out and shown a gap between the screen and side panel, unable to close and open the laptop. WhatsApp Chat with the support team but not very helpful. They are saying that It will be covered under an accidental damage warranty only as there is no accidental damage warranty on the system. Please contact our out-of-warranty team for further assistance. Since I have only ProSupport I need to pay for the service. But that apart it looks like more of a manufacturing defect and Dell should handle these defects better.
