Vostro USB port Version?

I have 4 USB ports on one side of the Vostro.  (I don't know what model I have.)  I want to buy some thumb drives to use in those ports, and need to know what version USB I have.  Device Manager doesn't say.  This is what Device Manager says.

So what version of USB ports do I have that I can buy a thumb drive for?

Thanks!

There are a number of various Vostro models. Without the model number it is impossible to precisely answer the question. The Dell support page below explains how to find out what model you have.

But generally if you buy a USB 3.0 drive and plug it into a USB 2.0 port it will work at 2.0 speeds. And of course work at 3.0 speeds in a 3.0 port. Also generally 3.0 ports are blue if you look inside the slot.

Thanks for the help.  After I got the model number, I successfully got a manual online that told me I have 2 version 2's and 2 version 3's.  And now I can buy a thumb drive.  Cool!

Thanks again.
