Low monitor refresh new vostro
My monitor has recomended resolution 3440x1440 and 100Hz. Connected Vostro shows 29,99Hz refresh rate connected by HDMI. The same cable/monitor connected to other computer with ryzen shows 100 Hz.
When I change refresh rate in W11 to 60 Hz resolution change to 1920x1080.
Can I get 60 Hz on HDMI port with resolution 3440x1440 or should I change to DisplayPort or Vostro is damage?

Not just the cable, that will also depend on which specification of the HDMI port on your Vostro. HDMI ports have different versions and they are affecting the output resolutions. Example: HDMI 1.4, HDMI 2.0.

It certainly is. DP offers higher bandwidth and therefore, better resolution at higher refresh rate.

@Chino de Oro In vostro there's DP 1.4, monitor has DP too. Maybe this will'be better solution?

@Chino de Oro It turned out that the problem is the HDMI port, which is version 1.4 and is actually a bottleneck. I switched to DP and it is 60Hz. It seems that Dell promotes DP in its products.

The limitation of HDMI port was pointed out from my first post and bandwidth capability of DP from my second post. If the information was helpful to you, mark as accepted answer instead of leaving this topic as unsolved.
