VNX Hotspare Policy with 5.33.000.5.051
Hi,
Has EMC changed the Hotspare requirements from 1 per 30 disks to 1 per 60 disks? Does anyone have any documentation on this changed?

See page 9. Best practice is still 1-30. The recommended policy will be modified to reflect this in the next release. For now, we suggest setting the policy to custom and choosing 1-30.

I see this too in Release 33 P51. The only reference I see in the Release Notes is to the following bug, but I don't quite understand it. Is the "1 per 60" a bug or a new "best practice"?

1-30 is still best practice. We will be changing the recommended back to 1-30 in the next release.
