Remove Interfaces From LACP Device

I have a VNX5800 with 8 physical interfaces allocated to a LACP Device. I need to remove 2 of the interfaces as they will no longer be used and the assigned IP's can be returned to be reallocated elsewhere.

I was just wondering the correct way to do this because i don't want to affect the interfaces that are still being used.  Looking at this screenshot below it is Interfaces labelled Interface_1 and Interface_8.

Can i just delete the interface if i go into Settings For File -> Interfaces -> Select Interface -> Delete? Will it automatically get removed from the LACP device and leave the interfaces we want to be there in place? Or do we need to look at removing devices first?

Also is there a way to see which Interface Name we have is mapped the VNX device name? Someone renamed all the interfaces on this VNX to Interface1, Interface 2 etc but looking at the LACP device it uses the VNX device names (cge-1-0, cge-1-1 etc). I would hope Interface_1 as we have it is cge-1-0, Interface_2 is cge-1-1 but is there a way to confirm that as i cant find that either.

Any assistance to clarify the above would be appreciated.

Hello AndrewP27,

Here is a link to Configuring and Managing Network High Availability on VNXé, & if you look on page 40 it explains how to remove a link aggregation. https://dell.to/3eM20Im
