SymCLI commands issued via Unisphere for VMAX [solved]

Hi,

as per object: Is there a way to get/know/see/discovery SymCLI commands issued via Unisphere for VMAX ?

It should be in symapi logs.

Hi Ugin,

Sorry, it's not correct. As I see the log file does show only the actions made by Unisphere not the symcli command used to do that action. In some cases it shows even the switch and args used on some command like symconfigure, but in this case the log doesn't tell you the command from wich the switch and args belong to.

So I would ask it again with a more specific question:

Is there a low level place where I can find the full commands used to do some action/configuration?

I agree, this is specific to the mgmt host.

Hi everybody.

SOLUTION: Use 'symaudit -sid XXX list -text' within a shell where there Solution Enabler SymCLI installed in order to view the enteire LOG with all of activities that where done and with the full commands used by Unisphere to do everythings.
