SRDF Set up on VMAX system
Hello All,
We have a new Powermax system, we want to set up replication between the VMAX system to PMAX. When i try to create a dynamic SRDF group, i am getting the below error.
"A local GIGE IP table mismatch has been encountered"
I believe we need to set up RMT table, but i do not see any option to set RMT table on unisphere for this VMAX system. Is there a way we can set this up via CLI ?

Hello Prasad0065,
RMT is not supported on a VMAX system.

Our system is VMAX 450F. So now how do i setup replication to a new PMAX system ? I know the IP the interfaces on both the systems are able to communicate to each other. What else do i need to do to start creating SRDF groups.
When i try to create SRDF group, i am getting this error :
"A local GIGE IP table mismatch has been encountered"

Hello Prasad0065,
Here is a link to the powermax info hub and if you look under Use Local and Remote Replication Services there are some guides that will be of assistance.

@DELL-Sam L I dont have any issues setting up SRDF between powermax systems. But only when i try to create SRDF group from VMAX 450F i am seeing issues.
Specifically, I would like to understand how do i resolve the below issue. When creating SRDF group, i am getting this error.
"A local GIGE IP table mismatch has been encountered"

Are you getting the error on the VAX or Powermax side? This might help. https://dell.to/3vTeNFy

@DELL-Josh Cr I am getting this error on VMAX.
I did try creating RMT table on the VMAX system using the commands that are present in the article. But when i do that i am getting the below error.
"The requested feature is not supported for this microcode or SYMAPI version"

@DELL-Josh Cr
Symmetrix Command Line Interface (SYMCLI) Version V10.1.0.0 (Edit Level: 2752)
built with SYMAPI Version V10.1.0.0 (Edit Level: 2752)
I have tried looking into V10 SE guide. I could not find any related commands.
