Span database servers accross two storage arrays
I am looking for some input on pros and cons of spanning database server across VNX and V-MAX.
Scenario#1: DB servers have dedicated Database on V-MAX and on VNX.
Scenario#2: DB server have single database across VNX and V-MAX.

Can you provide more detail? What database type and version, i.e Oracle RAC, DB2, MS SQL 2008, etc.?
Are these arrays in the same location? Different datacenters? Are they behind VPLEX?
Are you talking about putting database (DATA) LUNs on VMAX with logging LUNs or tempDB on VNX?
What is your final design and/or purpose?
