Updates 2/10/26 - 'Microsoft Tuesday'

Question

Today is 'Microsoft Tuesday' --- the SECOND Tuesday of the month --- on which Microsoft is expected to release its monthly cycle of Windows security updates. Based on previous history, they should become available at 1 P.M. [USA - Eastern STANDARD Time] Please use Windows/Automatic Updates to determine which updates are applicable to your particular system.

Malicious Software Removal Tool (MRT/MSRT) for February, v5.139 , adds detection/removal of:

AshWiper	February 2026 (v. 5.139)
ShambleVortex	February 2026 (v. 5.139)
ScatterBee	February 2026 (v. 5.139)
ZooFang	February 2026 (v. 5.139)

Remark: At present, the official Microsoft page is still pointing to last month's tool, v5.138, which is why I haven't included any links here. However, Windows Update IS finding the newest tool.
