vFoglight - Moving the database to another SQL Server

Question

Hello, We are in the process of moving our vFoglight database from one SQL server to another SQL Server (build to production).  I modified the server name/instance in the foglight.config file to point to the new server and instance and restarted the service (and eventually rebooted as well).  However, vFoglight no longer works.  Is there another step required to make it work? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers, Mark

Hello Mark,

We will need to look into FMS log and SQL server log to check what error is getting thrown but as a quick check can you verify that Server Authentication is set to SQL Server & Windows Authentication mode in Security settings of your SQL Server instance.
