ViPR SRM & AIX - VIO Data Collection
I am wondering if there is anyone within the community who has successfully setup IBM LPAR Solution Pack and data collection on AIX VIO LPARS.
Please let me know.

Coming to you question:
1. IBM LPAR SP is just to discover HMC related data, which is nothing but overview of the P Servers managed by HMC which includes some high level details like: How many P Server, how many LPARS are installed on them, processor, memory etc etc.
2. To get detailed view of each VIOS / VIOC (LPARS) one needs to discover them individually via Host SP i.e. just like discovering Physical Hosts. Though the reports of those VIOC / VIOC would be available in IBM LPAR SP.
