Vipr SRM admin GUI Account
Does anyone know if there is a way that the admin account used to log into the Vipr SRM front-end GUI can be re-enabled if it has been disabled?
For the record I am able to log into the Front-end and back-end via SSH as root user. Is there any way that the admin account used to log into the Front-end GUI can be re-enabled via SSH command line and if so what are the steps?
Thanks in advance for any help!!!

Hi JamesMcC,
Looking at the UI i dont see any options to disable the default Admin account, are you sure that it wasn't deleted ?
In any case it can be re-enable or re-created, this might have to do this in the mysql db. You should open a service request with support to assist.

Hi James,
If the admin account has been deleted, check out KB 000494018 for procedures to recreate it.

Hi Kevin,
thanks for a link to the KB article. The Front and Back-end servers are SUSE Linux Enterprise, not Windows. Would you know how to create the admin account via SUSE Linux?
